Why LeasingTracker

The odometer shows today. What matters is where it is heading.

Whether your lease stays within range depends on the remaining term, your driving pattern and planned journeys – not only on the current number.

01

Snapshots only

One reading says little about the development through contract end.

02

Calculating too late

Possible excess mileage often becomes visible only when little flexibility remains.

03

Underestimated trips

Small additional journeys can add up noticeably over several months.

How it works

From an odometer reading to useful guidance.

Add your contract and record mileage. LeasingTracker turns that into history, forecast, buffer and scenarios.

  1. 01

    Add contract values

Term, mileage allowance and relevant costs form the basis.

  2. 02

    Record mileage

New readings are quick to add and remain visible in your history.

  3. 03

    Understand the direction

Forecast, trend and remaining buffer are put into context.

  4. 04

    Check scenarios

See the possible effect of a planned journey in advance.

Plan ahead

Understand the direction

History and contract limit in one view.

Your entries form a clear history, so you see more than the current number.

Your data

Kept locally. Backed up deliberately.

No required account or mandatory cloud. You decide when to export or create a backup.

Local data, backup and export.

Transparent by design

Your lease. Your entries. Your device.

LeasingTracker processes contract values and mileage locally. There is no required account, advertising or mandatory cloud.

Local by default

Contract data and entries stay on your device unless you export them.

Backup by choice

You decide when and where a backup is created.

Guidance, not a guarantee

Forecasts do not replace your contract or the final calculation from the leasing company.

Who it is for

Helpful when you do not want a surprise at contract end.

For people with a mileage lease who want a calm view of their direction without maintaining a spreadsheet.

A strong fit

When mileage varies.

Useful for commuters, families, frequent drivers and anyone whose use changes from month to month.

Probably less useful

When you already calculate everything precisely.

With very little driving or a complete calculation of your own, the app may add little value.

Marc Herkner

Why I build LeasingTracker

Because a mileage reading without context offers little guidance.

The key question is not only “How far have I driven?” but “Does the direction still fit my lease?” LeasingTracker is built to answer that clearly.

Quick answers

Frequently asked questions about LeasingTracker.

What does LeasingTracker do?

It combines your readings with the remaining term and mileage allowance to show history, forecast and a calculated buffer.

Does my data stay local?

Yes. The app is local-first. You deliberately start any export or backup.

Is the forecast binding?

No. It is guidance based on your entries and does not replace your contract or final settlement.

What does the test cost and is feedback required?

The test is free. Feedback is welcome and useful, but not required.

How quickly will access be enabled?

Usually within 1–2 days after you send the Google account address you want to use.

Why do I need to provide my Google account?

The Google Play test is closed, so the account used for installation must be added to the tester list first.
